Land Hessen

The German state of Hesse keeps fuel reserves at almost 50 critical infrastructure sites spread across the state, so that these sites remain operationally ready even during a longer-lasting disruption of the external supply. To monitor those reserves, the state has set up a digitalisation project that records the fill levels centrally and automatically instead of reading them off one by one on site.
