Every project on this platform was implemented by a real person in a real company. That person has their own profile here with name, photo and contact details. You can ask them directly how they implemented it, what didn't work, or what they would do differently today. We're happy to put you in touch.
We verify, not the vendor
Whether a project really exists is not decided by us at our desks – we speak to the end customer personally. Many users are represented in our community or talk about the project on the IoT Use Case Podcast. Every quarter we check that the contact is still reachable. Because a reference nobody knows anymore is no reference.

How do you actually make money?
We originally come from the user community. In the beginning, the question for our founding team was: why do so many projects start from zero? Why does nobody know which IoT projects really work and which don't? Often you just ask the supplier you already know – and only get one opinion.
That question sparked a community. Users connected, shared experiences, and presented real projects. Eventually, providers got in touch because they had working projects and wanted to be visible in the network. That's how our partner program came about.
Sharing cross-company practical knowledge is not a new idea. Associations, networks and government programs do important work here. But every few weeks new IoT products come onto the market, new buzzwords that hardly anyone can classify, new technologies and standards. Someone needs to focus exclusively on this and keep an overview of what actually works in practice. That's our job. And we cooperate with everyone who shares knowledge here, because together we reach more than alone.
Today we are financed through annual partnerships with providers who have actually implemented projects in practice and whose customers are represented with us.
For you as a user, everything stays free. No commission, no sales mission. Everything you see here has passed our verification process. We know the person behind it. And if you ask how your use case has already been solved, we will find out for you – free of charge, because that's our daily job.

My professional career has taken me through various leadership roles at Siemens, where I helped shape forward-looking fields such as the Internet of Things, SaaS solutions, and augmented reality. While pursuing my Ph.D. in Business Informatics—a program I began concurrently during my time at Siemens—I founded my own company together with my brothers. We specialize in training, consulting, and the implementation of generative AI and digitalization solutions. As co-host of the IoT Use Case Podcast, I bring the connection between industrial innovation, technology, and science to the table.
